Details:

  • Day shift, 12-hour schedule
  • Travel position; must reside at least 50 miles away

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in trauma and stroke imaging
  • Associates Degree or equivalent
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Valid BLS certification
  • AART certification and current State/District license required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and radiographic equipment, adjusting technical factors based on patient body habitus
  • Position patients accurately and review physician orders to ensure high-quality diagnostic results
  • Obtain and utilize pertinent clinical information to minimize patient and self-radiation exposure
  • Assist physicians during exams, including room prep, managing supplies, and supporting during contrast reactions or emergencies
  • Efficiently schedule and complete exams, documenting and entering correct charge codes
