An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced imaging professional skilled in both CT and PET technology. This position is essential in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging for patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Proficient in performing both CT and PET scans with a strong understanding of associated protocols
• ARRT certification or equivalent required
• Current BLS certification
• Expertise in patient positioning, imaging procedures, and radiation safety practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse patients and healthcare team members
• Prior experience working with advanced CT/PET imaging equipment preferred

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operate PET/CT scanners to capture diagnostic images according to physician orders and safety guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and accuracy
• Monitor images for diagnostic quality and troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and privacy standards
• Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized imaging area
