An opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in computerized tomography (CT) imaging to support diagnostic services at a well-established healthcare facility located near Naperville, IL. This contract role involves performing CT procedures to accurately aid in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute CT imaging procedures following radiologist-established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients correctly, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
• Administer contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and report any abnormal observations promptly.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to imaging protocols as necessary.
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Radiologic Technologist credential from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
• Certified as a Nuclear Medical Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or specialize in Computed Tomography (CT) with certification such as NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT).
• Alternatively, hold an ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential specializing in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Proven expertise in CT imaging techniques and patient care during diagnostic procedures.
