Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanning equipment to obtain images as ordered by providers
- Adhere to established protocols and safety procedures for patient and staff
- Accurately position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Assess image quality to guarantee optimal diagnostic value
- Document patient information and maintain imaging records according to facility requirements
- Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals regarding imaging results or concerns
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness
- Follow all applicable radiation safety regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with advanced CT training
- Current ARRT (CT) certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Valid and active state-specific Radiologic Technologist license, as required
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Previous experience working independently in a CT imaging environment strongly preferred
- Excellent technical, organizational, and patient care skills
- Attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities
