Schedule & Hours:
- Shifts will vary by department needs, with no on-call requirements.
- Arrival the Thursday before your start date is required for a pre-assignment health appointment on Friday.
Key Qualifications:
- Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer (or must apply upon job offer; license required before assignment begins).
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Proficiency in performing routine CT scans and following radiologist protocols independently.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation highly preferred.
- Experience with venipuncture, advanced imaging (MIP, MPR, 3D), and interventional procedures (biopsies, drainages) is advantageous.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT scans per physician protocol, ensuring diagnostic quality and patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate records within the EMR system.
- Support patient comfort and care throughout imaging procedures.
