In this dynamic imaging role at a modern free-standing emergency department, you'll work closely with other skilled clinicians, expanding your clinical expertise in both general radiology and advanced CT technology. The department is equipped with the latest GE Optima 660 CT and GE Proteus X-ray systems, giving you firsthand exposure to cutting-edge medical imaging equipment and processes. Youll have the ability to broaden your resume while developing a deeper understanding of emergency radiology workflow and Meditech documentation.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation (per facility policy)
• Opportunities to rotate to other shifts as staffing requires

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 years experience in general radiology and CT imaging
• ARRT(R)(CT) certification
• SCRQSA license
• BLS certification
• Proficiency in emergency department x-ray and CT procedures
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation preferred
• Required dress: gray scrubs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and document emergency x-ray and CT exams efficiently and accurately
• Collaborate closely with healthcare team members to deliver excellent patient care
• Adhere to department protocols, safety standards, and quality controls
• Engage positively with patients during high-stress situations
• Maintain and monitor equipment in accordance with facility standards
