This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize advanced computed tomography (CT) technology to assist in diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions. The role involves operating CT equipment to capture detailed cross-sectional images of patients bones, organs, and tissues. In addition to CT scanning, the position includes performing various imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy, providing diverse experience in diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience operating CT equipment in a clinical setting
• Proficient in general radiography and fluoroscopy techniques
• Knowledge of safety protocols and patient care during imaging procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Certification or licensure as a CT Technologist as required by state or professional boards

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to obtain diagnostic images of patients anatomy
• Perform additional imaging techniques including fluoroscopy and general radiography
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure imaging meets diagnostic needs
• Follow strict safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure
