Job Description

Bring your expertise in imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment, operating state-of-the-art computed tomography (CT) equipment to create high-quality cross-sectional images that support diagnostic decision-making. In this rewarding contract opportunity, you will perform CT scans as well as a range of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, playing a vital role in patient care and clinical collaboration.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position with hours to be determined by facility need

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current certification in Radiologic Technology
  • Advanced certification or eligibility in Computed Tomography preferred
  • Demonstrated competence performing CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy
  • Familiarity with cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
  • Strong commitment to patient safety and comfort
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams
  • Adherence to safety standards and infection control procedures
  • Experience with hospital PACS and imaging systems a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT and related imaging equipment according to protocol
  • Produce clear, diagnostic-quality images for physician review
  • Evaluate imaging results and ensure clinical accuracy
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Explain procedures to patients and provide ongoing support
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
  • Follow facility and regulatory guidelines for equipment use, safety, and patient care
