Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered or certified in Computed Tomography (CT) through an accredited body (such as ARRT)
  • Demonstrated experience as a CT technologist in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Proficiency with CT imaging procedures, including knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety
  • Familiarity with up-to-date imaging technology and electronic health record (EHR) documentation
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, including proper positioning and use of shielding
  • Accurately capture and label images, providing clear data for diagnostic interpretation
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and care teams for optimal workflow and patient outcomes
  • Maintain equipment in good working order, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and arrange for service as needed
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and facility standards regarding patient privacy, infection control, and safety
