Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered or certified in Computed Tomography (CT) through an accredited body (such as ARRT)
- Demonstrated experience as a CT technologist in a clinical or hospital setting
- Proficiency with CT imaging procedures, including knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety
- Familiarity with up-to-date imaging technology and electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, including proper positioning and use of shielding
- Accurately capture and label images, providing clear data for diagnostic interpretation
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and care teams for optimal workflow and patient outcomes
- Maintain equipment in good working order, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and arrange for service as needed
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and facility standards regarding patient privacy, infection control, and safety
