This role will immerse you in a dynamic imaging department at a leading medical center with 640 beds and five busy CT scanners. Collaborate with talented technologists and radiologists, refine your skills using state-of-the-art GE equipment, and expand your experience with cutting-edge PACS systems such as EPIC and McKesson. The setting offers valuable exposure to diverse workplace practices and medical leadership approaches, giving a strong boost to your resume.

Expect a supportive start: enjoy two weeks of structured orientation and hands-on training alongside experienced mentors, ensuring youre comfortable and confident before taking on independent shifts. Youll have ample opportunity to enrich your professional expertise, working with a variety of CT procedures and critically honing IV skills.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Three 12-hour shifts: 7:00 am 7:30 pm (every fourth weekend/holiday rotation), or
  • Three 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 pm 7:30 am (every third weekend/holiday rotation)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all types of general CT scans and start IVs as needed
  • Operate GE CT scanners and ensure image quality
  • Adhere to departmental safety protocols and documentation standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and team members within the EPIC and McKesson PACS environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GE imaging equipment
  • ARRT (CT) certification, IEMA, and BLS required
  • Knowledge of best practices for CT scanning in an acute care setting
