A healthcare opportunity is available for a CT Technologist skilled with advanced imaging techniques and experienced in performing comprehensive CT scans using GE equipment. This contract position is based in Morton, IL, located within a respected medical center known for its advanced imaging capabilities and commitment to quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of CT scans, including all general procedures, using GE imaging equipment.
- Start IVs as required for imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure efficient and accurate patient imaging.
- Utilize electronic medical records and imaging systems including EPIC, McKesson, and PACS for documentation and imaging retrieval.
- Adhere to safety protocols, dress code (normal scrubs), and departmental guidelines.
- Participate in a structured two-week orientation program working closely with a dedicated trainer before independent responsibility.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified and registered with ARRT (CT)
- Current IEMA and BLS certifications required
- Proficiency with GE CT scanners strongly preferred
- Experience in a hospital or large healthcare facility setting is advantageous
Schedule:
- Option 1: Three 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, every fourth weekend with holiday rotation
- Option 2: Three 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every third weekend with holiday rotation
