Job Description

A unique opportunity exists for a skilled CT and Radiologic Technologist dual-modality professional to contribute to a high-volume, patient-centered healthcare environment in Monroe, NC. This contract position offers the chance to work in a dynamic teaching hospital recognized for its Trauma IV designation, Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Center certifications.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in radiologic technology or CT imaging; first-time travelers are welcome
  • Certification and Licensure:
    • BLS required for all candidates
    • Rad Tech: ARRT(R)
    • CT Tech: ARRT(R)(CT)
    • Dual Modality CT/DX: ARRT(R)(CT)
    • MRI Tech: ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRI
    • US Tech: ARDMS or ARRT (no specific anatomy certification required)
    • Nuclear Med Tech: ARRT-N or NMTCB
  • Photo identification required for compliance processing
  • Familiarity with Siemens and GE imaging equipment preferred
  • Experience with EMR systems, primarily EPIC

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across Emergency, Inpatient, and Outpatient settings
  • Adhere to department protocols and safety standards in a high-volume environment
  • Collaborate closely with nursing and transport teams to ensure patient-centered care
  • Participate in department orientation including 3-5 days of modality-specific training
  • Engage in weekend rotations, holiday shifts (working approximately 75% of holidays), and on-call duties as scheduled based upon modality and managerial approval

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shift times and schedules vary by modality and rotate every four weeks
  • Weekend and holiday work expectations communicated during interview
