This opportunity is for a skilled CT Technologist to support a reputable Level 1 Trauma Designated teaching hospital in Milledgeville, GA. The facility is known for its comprehensive care, including a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center, with 637 licensed beds and an average daily census of approximately 100 patients. This is a contract position ideal for experienced technologists seeking to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging on inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients using GE scanners and Philips PACS
  • Administer IVs as necessary, requiring proficient IV start skills
  • Adhere to established protocols in a department equipped with EMR (EPIC)
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care
  • Maintain compliance with departmental policies and safety standards

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years CT imaging experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
  • Current ARRT certification in CT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Demonstrated ability to perform IV starts
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Work Schedule:

  • Variable shifts within a 13-week schedule cycle
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Holiday work required when scheduled
  • Paid parking available at $7 biweekly in a parking deck
