Job Description

This opportunity seeks an experienced CT Technologist to contribute advanced imaging skills within a dynamic healthcare environment in Milledgeville, GA. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of four years of CT experience, performing high-quality computed tomography scans to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of CT technologist experience
  • ARRT certification in CT required
  • Proficient in IV starts
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
  • Experienced with Philips PACS and GE CT scanners
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an inclusive departmental culture

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging on inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients utilizing GE CT scanners and Philips PACS.
  • Administer IV contrast agents safely and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and compliance standards.
  • Participate in department orientation and ongoing training to remain current on technology and procedures.

Schedule and Contract Details:

  • Contract position with a 13-week schedule cycle
  • Variable shift times with no weekend rotation or on-call duties
  • Holiday work expected only on holidays that fall within contract period
  • Time off requests subject to manager approval
