A challenging opportunity is available for a skilled CT Technologist with experience in advanced imaging techniques, particularly for stroke patients. This contract role is based in a well-equipped emergency department setting, where diagnostic precision and patient care go hand in hand.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all CT and X-ray exams with advanced post-processing skills, especially for stroke patients
• Operate imaging equipment including GE Tempo, GE Maxima CT, and AMX machines
• Deliver professional and empathetic interactions with patients in a high-paced emergency setting
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and GE Centricity PACS systems
• Collaborate closely with a team including unit secretaries and techs, supporting patient care efficiently
• Flexible to pick up extra shifts in other FSEDs or hospital locations as needed
• Adhere to hospital scheduling policies, including working every other weekend and rotating holidays

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• ARRT (R, CT) certification required
• CPR certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Proficient in CT imaging, X-Ray exams, and CT post-processing
• Demonstrated advanced skills in CT for stroke patients
• Ability to work within established unit guidelines and adhere to professional dress code (black scrubs)
