Working in a Multi Modality Technologist capacity will expose you to a variety of workplace practices and leadership styles, enriching your career trajectory and expanding your resume with valuable, diverse experiences.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with flexible, full-time scheduling based on facility needs.
Responsibilities:
- Independently operate imaging equipment across at least two modalities (including CT).
- Perform and document high-quality diagnostic examinations while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
- Adhere strictly to established protocols (ALARA, Image Gently, Image Wisely) and regulatory requirements.
- Provide comprehensive age-specific care from neonates to geriatrics.
- Maintain equipment through daily checks and report any malfunctions.
- Accurately enter billing codes and maintain records in RIS and EMR systems.
- Instruct students and new staff as needed after one year of experience.
- Uphold medical ethics and confidentiality, following all guidelines for Protected Health Information (PHI).
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED and completion of a 2-year accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certification by ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality.
- Ohio state licensure and BCLS required.
- Effective communication and administrative skills, with a clear understanding of imaging equipment and protocols.
- At least one year of experience in a primary radiology modality and completion of second modality orientation preferred.
