Schedule/Hours:
- Contract assignment; schedule details provided upon interview
Qualifications:
- Certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Active and valid credentials appropriate to CT imaging (such as ARRT or equivalent)
- Previous clinical experience working in a CT imaging role
- Proficiency operating CT equipment and related technologies
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to interact compassionately with patients and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by medical staff, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and addressing questions or concerns
- Operate state-of-the-art CT imaging equipment per established protocols
- Review images for clarity and accuracy prior to submission to radiologists
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety procedures and infection control guidelines
- Maintain thorough documentation and patient records as required
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to coordinate patient care
