Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to perform high-quality imaging procedures according to physician orders
  • Position patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure
  • Interpret and follow exam protocols to achieve optimal image quality
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and medical staff to share findings and coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies
  • Practice safety procedures to ensure patient and staff well-being, including proper use of protective equipment and adherence to infection control protocols
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions promptly

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or equivalent credentialing body
  • Valid state licensure (if required)
  • Proven experience in a clinical imaging environment with a focus on CT modalities
  • Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow complex imaging protocols
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification
