This travel position promises dynamic workplace exposure by working alongside multiple teams in a hospital known for its breadth of imaging services and stroke accreditation. As you hone your CT imaging skills across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient environments, you'll collaborate with diverse professionals, expanding your clinical repertoire and enhancing your resume with valuable, in-demand expertise.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (exact hours/schedule provided upon interview)
- Shifts may include weekdays and weekends, with orientation days as needed
Essential Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience in CT imaging (first-time travelers welcome)
- Ability to start peripheral IVs
- Proficient in venous/arterial and multiphase scanning, stroke imaging (including perfusion), and colorectal studies
- Knowledge of TeraRecon software is a plus, not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient units
- Conduct CT-guided invasive procedures and cardiac CT imaging (day shift, seven days/week)
- Collaborate with radiology nursing and guest services for optimal patient care
- Operate Siemens CT scanners, Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors, and document in EPIC
- Follow safety and clinical protocols, including departmental scrub color requirements
