Job Description
A healthcare facility located near Lowell, MA is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) to perform a variety of CT imaging procedures. This contract position requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to all relevant safety standards and protocols.
Responsibilities include performing CT scans under the supervision of physicians and technical specialists, managing patient care for a diverse age group from newborns to geriatrics, and handling IV insertions and removals as needed. The role demands strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility-specific policies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience, preferably with adult and older adult patient populations
- State licensure by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board
- ARRT registration as RT(R) or RT(N)
- Preferred ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT); candidates without this certification must obtain it within one year of hire
- CPR certification
