Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT procedures and related techniques for physician interpretation.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by providing clear instructions and emotional support.
  • Select, operate, and adjust imaging equipment and accessories as required.
  • Assess and position patients to optimize image quality while maintaining comfort and safety.
  • Practice aseptic techniques, administer contrast media, and start/maintain IV access as needed.
  • Provide direct education, demonstrations, and support to patients, students, and colleagues.
  • Uphold all protocols for patient safety, universal precautions, and equipment handling.
  • Input on supply management and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide emergency support with basic life support measures when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in CT.
  • Active ARRT Radiography and CT registration.
  • IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation.
  • Approved CPR or BLS certification.
