Key Qualifications:
- Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiologic Technology
- Proven experience operating CT scanners, with solid knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficiency in general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
- Commitment to maintaining patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout imaging processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Competence in following precise imaging protocols and ensuring quality control
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position; specific shifts and schedule will be communicated during the interview process
Role Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and related imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing questions or concerns
- Assess image quality, ensuring all required anatomical areas are included and images meet physician requirements
- Complete documentation and store images within the electronic medical record system following established protocols
- Blend technical skill and patient care, providing a safe, supportive experience to all individuals
- Maintain equipment, room cleanliness, and adhere to infection control procedures
