Job Description
Step into a dynamic imaging role delivering vital diagnostic insights across a variety of patient care needs. Utilize your expertise operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissuesessential tools in supporting accurate patient diagnoses. In addition to CT procedures, you will perform general radiography and fluoroscopy studies, contributing to comprehensive imaging services.
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with consistent scheduling
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Valid state radiologic technologist license (if required)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography; CT credential preferred
- Proven experience operating CT equipment in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in performing a range of imaging procedures including radiography and fluoroscopy
- Familiarity with patient safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and quality assurance practices
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanner and ancillary imaging equipment, adhering to established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
- Produce high-quality cross-sectional images to aid in accurate medical diagnoses
- Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy exams as scheduled
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to deliver timely diagnostic information
