Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced CT technologist to contribute to advanced imaging services in a well-established medical facility. This role requires in-depth expertise in CT imaging with a focus on vascular procedures and inpatient care. The position is offered on a contract basis, located in Libertyville, IL.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience with strong vascular knowledge
  • Active ACR CT accreditation
  • Current BLS certification through AHA
  • Valid Illinois state license (IEMA)
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
  • Preferred: Proficiency with GE equipment
  • Preferred: Level 1 trauma center experience

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general and vascular CT imaging on both inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Ensure accurate and timely imaging according to protocol standards
  • Collaborate with the medical team to support diagnosis and treatment
  • Adhere to patient safety and infection control policies
  • Wear designated Caribbean Blue scrubs during shifts
  • Maintain a professional and efficient work environment

This contract opportunity includes working within a facility with over 270 licensed beds, recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and Magnet-designated hospital. The department operates 4 CT beds and manages approximately 50 patients per shift, catering to a broad range of CT and vascular cases.
