Job Description
Deliver advanced patient care in an imaging department utilizing your expertise in CT technology. This contract opportunity is designed for skilled imaging professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are dedicated to providing exceptional diagnostic support for clinicians.
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position; specific hours to be discussed during interview
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified in Computed Tomography (CT) by an accredited organization (ARRT CT preferred)
- Current and valid radiologic technologist license (if required by state regulations)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Prior experience operating advanced CT imaging equipment
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient positioning, and CT protocols
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans per physician orders, ensuring image quality and patient safety
- Prepare and position patients while providing compassionate care
- Adhere to departmental workflows and maintain detailed records of imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and timely reporting
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment
- Follow all safety and regulatory protocols, including infection control procedures
- Educate and comfort patients throughout the imaging process, tailoring communication to individual needs
