Job Description
Advance your career in medical imaging by becoming a key team member responsible for performing CT radiographic examinations across a diverse patient base, from newborns to geriatric individuals. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic workweek36 hours one week and 48 the nextin a collaborative department aimed at maintaining high standards of care and diagnostic quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program, or equivalent degree required.
- Minimum of two years' post-graduate radiologic experience, with a hospital background strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with CT angiograms and the ability to work independently.
- Active American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) license; CT registered or Board eligible.
- Computer literacy is desirable.
- Must be able to provide proof of completed COVID vaccinations.
- Limited to no supervisory responsibilities.
Schedule and Setting:
- Shifts vary: expect alternating weeks of 36 and 48 hours.
- Shared housing accommodations; private housing is not available, and pets are not permitted.
- Initial airfare is reimbursed upon arrival.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic CT examinations, ensuring safe and accurate imaging for all ages.
- Occasionally fulfill front desk/receptionist duties as needed.
- Uphold high standards of patient care, privacy, and departmental efficiency.
Onboarding and Credential Requirements:
- Orientation sessions are held only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Complete background checks, immunization records (including Hepatitis A/B, Varicella, MMR, T-Dap, Polio or titers), professional credentials, and other key documentation are mandatory prior to assignment.
- Traveler must have all credentials cleared before travel and submit flight itinerary at least one week prior to start.
