A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Imaging professional skilled in CT and X-Ray procedures. This contract position requires a dedicated technologist to work full-time, covering rotating day and night shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities. You'll be part of a valued clinical team providing high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients.
Schedule:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Rotating day and night shifts
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- On-call responsibilities included
Qualifications:
- Current certification in CT and Radiologic Technology
- Demonstrated proficiency and recent experience performing CT and X-Ray exams
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Willingness to reside within a 20-minute radius of the hospital while on-call
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and advanced CT scans and X-Ray procedures following established protocols
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and proper procedure execution for diagnostic-quality images
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to compliance, safety, and infection control standards
- Provide compassionate care, ensuring patient comfort and clear communication during procedures
- Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency or on-call situations, as required
