Job Description

An experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is needed for a contract position in Kent, WA. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in CT imaging and the necessary certifications to provide high-quality patient care during their assignment.

Your role will focus on performing CT imaging procedures with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintain detailed imaging records as part of the diagnostic process.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist License

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CT imaging exams following clinical protocols and patient safety guidelines
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining processes clearly and addressing any concerns
  • Operate CT equipment efficiently and maintain optimal image quality
  • Participate in orientation and educational sessions; expect approximately 25+ hours during the first two weeks
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to support diagnostic evaluations
