Job Description

A skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is needed for a contract position in the Kansas City, MO area. This role involves performing diagnostic CT imaging to support patient care in a reputable hospital setting. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation of CT experience and certification, ready to contribute to a dynamic radiology team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required; 3 years preferred
  • Must hold current ARRT (CT) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and some holidays
  • Nicotine-free work environment

Location Overview:
Situated in Liberty, Missouri, this facility provides a community-focused healthcare environment just a short drive from the vibrant city of Kansas City. Liberty offers a blend of suburban comfort and accessibility to urban amenities, making it an attractive place to work and live.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans with precision and care, adhering to protocols and safety standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize imaging quality and patient outcomes
  • Maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures
  • Engage in on-call duties approximately every fifth week, providing support during evenings and weekends as scheduled
  • Attend a two-day orientation to ensure seamless integration into the facilitys workflow

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • On-call rotation includes one weekend (Friday through Sunday) every five weeks

Additional Information: This is a contract assignment with bi-weekly pay. The facility provides an established orientation process and allows for one shift cancellation per pay period with notice.
