Qualifications:

  • ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Current state Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable)
  • Demonstrated competency in computed tomography procedures
  • Minimum one year of recent CT imaging experience preferred
  • CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical settings and prioritize patient safety

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician instructions
  • Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image capture and technical quality
  • Prepare patients for scans, thoroughly explaining procedures and providing reassurance
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
  • Accurately document patient information and scan details in the electronic health record
  • Maintain proper safety protocols for patients and team, including radiation safety compliance
  • Assist with the care and maintenance of equipment, reporting malfunctions or concerns promptly
