A highly skilled CT Technologist is needed for a contract position based in Kansas City, KS, supporting advanced imaging services at a busy medical center. This role involves working with state-of-the-art GE Optimas CT scanners, performing comprehensive CT exams, including trauma imaging. The ideal candidate has solid experience with GE equipment, trauma protocol knowledge, and a strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all types of CT examinations accurately and efficiently on a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with a small team of 1-2 technologists and unit secretaries to maintain smooth operations
• Utilize McKesson PACS and Meditech documentation systems to ensure precise image handling and record-keeping
• Maintain high-quality patient care standards with an emphasis on trauma cases
• Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code requirements (black scrubs) and safety protocols

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid CT Certification and ARRT credentials
• Current Kansas State licensure for radiologic technologists
• BLS certification required
• Proven experience operating GE Optimas CT scanners
• Skilled in trauma imaging procedures and patient-centered care
• Flexibility to adapt to varying case loads and unit needs
