Embarking on this travel position will provide you with hands-on experience, exposing you to diverse workplace practices and innovative leadership within the imaging department. Working alongside experienced professionals, youll develop new skills, strengthen your CT and X-ray expertise, and add valuable new competencies to your resume. The rotational call schedule means youll encounter a wide variety of cases, further broadening your knowledge base while supporting patient care.
Schedule / Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- Rotational call: 1 every 4 weekends, plus weekday call
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Proficiency in CT and X-ray imaging modalities
- Experience in hospital imaging settings highly preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures following physician orders and protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal care coordination
- Participate in rotational call, providing diagnostic services as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies
