Qualifications:
- Current certification in computed tomography (CT) through ARRT or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Valid state license to practice radiologic technology, if required
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute-care setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of CT protocols, anatomy, and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and systems
- Commitment to maintaining strict patient confidentiality and high safety standards
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract assignment; schedule details provided during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans following facility protocols and physician instructions
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records in the electronic health system
- Assist radiologists and physicians in obtaining necessary diagnostic images
- Monitor equipment performance, complete routine quality assurance checks, and report issues as needed
- Adhere to all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
