Job Description
Step into a critical role supporting medical imaging services in a dynamic hospital environment. This opportunity centers on CT imaging, with a focus on delivering high-quality diagnostic images to facilitate exceptional patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3:00pm - 11:30pm shift
- On-call coverage for 12 evenings per week
- Participation in holiday coverage as required
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in CT imaging within a hospital or clinical setting
- Experience working with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- Familiarity with Siemens CT scanners is advantageous, but not required
- Flexibility to adapt to regular evening hours, on-call responsibilities, and holiday scheduling
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with radiology and multidisciplinary teams
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography or eligible (as applicable)
- Current state licensure in Radiologic Technology (as required)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician review
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures
- Accurately document patient information, imaging details, and exam results in the EMR system
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and medical staff to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
- Adhere to all departmental protocols, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Provide support during on-call and holiday shifts as assigned
