Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patient safety through thorough pre-screening, aseptic injection techniques, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
  • Produce superior PET/CT diagnostic images by accurately interpreting physician orders and selecting optimal imaging parameters.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and healthcare team members.
  • Train new technologists and patient coordinators on imaging procedures and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot imaging equipment, including scanners, mobile coaches, monitors, PACS, and coils.
  • Adapt to various clinical environments and comply with local travel requirements.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography (NMTCB or ARRT(N) and ARRT(CT)).
  • Valid state licensure and AHA BLS/CPR certification.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year PET and/or PET/CT experience, with additional experience in X-ray or CT imaging.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in venipuncture.
  • Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations throughout Indiana.
