Looking for an opportunity to contribute your expertise in CT imaging in a dynamic healthcare setting? Skilled technologists are needed for a contract position specializing in CT imaging. Candidates will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging for a diverse patient population, working alongside a dedicated clinical team to support exceptional patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts include 3 x 12-hour options:
- Overnight: 7:00 pm 7:00 am
- Midday: 12:00 pm 12:00 am
- Day: 9:00 am 9:00 pm
- Call and holiday coverage required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant CT imaging experience reflected on your resume
- Active, current CT certification (ARRT or equivalent)
- Comprehensive understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and CT protocols
- Strong technical troubleshooting and patient-care skills
- Ability to maintain composure and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform full range of CT imaging procedures as ordered by providers, ensuring compliance with protocols and safety guidelines
- Set up and operate CT scanner and related equipment according to established procedures
- Position patients correctly while providing clear instructions and compassionate care
- Evaluate images for quality and completeness, assisting radiologists as needed
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
- Adhere to all health, safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Participate in call and holiday rotations as assigned
