Job Description
Step into a rewarding role focused on advanced diagnostic imaging as a CT Technologist, working directly with emergency and trauma patients in a dynamic hospital setting. Supported by leading-edge Philips and Siemens equipment and an Epic EMR system, youll make a tangible impact alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm 11:00 pm
- Two call shifts per week (please be prepared for flexible, on-call coverage as needed)
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in CT
- BLS certification
- Valid Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Radiology license
- Minimum of two years experience in CT, specifically with trauma and stroke patients
- Competence with IV insertion (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and flexibly in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Accurately follow physician protocols relating to trauma and stroke cases
- Communicate promptly with radiologists and care teams about emergent results
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within Epic EMR
- Adhere to departmental policies, infection control practices, and hospital dress code (grey scrubs; hooded jackets not permitted)
- Respond efficiently to emergency imaging and participate in on-call rotation
- Support the department by reliably covering shifts as assigned
