As a travel Radiology Technologist with CT skills, you'll not only hone your expertise with leading-edge technology like the GE Optima 660 CT and GE Proteus x-ray systems in a bustling free-standing emergency setting, but you'll also enrich your resume through exposure to a variety of clinical practices and leadership styles within a top-tier emergency department.
This assignment places you at the heart of a dynamic healthcare environment, where the 12-room emergency department runs on a collaborative spirit and relies on the high caliber of its specialized imaging professionals. Your time off opens up adventures discovering the historic charm, waterfront parks, and renowned cuisine of the Charleston area.
Schedule/Hours:
- Traveler scheduled per facility policy
- Every other weekend and holiday shifts on rotation
- 12-hour shifts; potential shift rotations based on staffing needs
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of radiology technologist experience (including CT)
- Registered with ARRT (R)(CT)
- Current SCRQSA certification
- BLS certification
- Experience in emergency department imaging strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency department x-ray and CT examinations independently
- Operate GE CT and x-ray equipment
- Document exams efficiently using Meditech
- Adhere to hospital protocols and gray scrubs dress code
- Maintain excellent communication and collaboration with the emergency care team
