Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of PET/CT imaging experience
- Active Radiologic Technologist and CT Tech License (NH)
- Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT or NMTCB)
- Excellent communication skills and patient-centered mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient safety through thorough pre-screening and meticulous adherence to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols
- Produce high-quality PET/CT diagnostic images using the GE Discovery PET/CT unit
- Communicate clearly with patients, putting them at ease during procedures, and provide detailed information to physicians and radiologists
- Troubleshoot imaging equipment and address technical issues with monitors, PACS, and peripheral components
- Foster knowledge exchange by training new technologists and collaborating on quality improvement initiatives
