You'll work in a modern, high-volume imaging department equipped with cutting-edge CT technology, gaining invaluable experience with complex, multi-phase, and cardiac CT imaging studies on state-of-the-art Siemens scanners. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, expand your technical expertise, and receive support from both radiology nursing and dedicated guest services. The departments commitment to continuous learning and TJC Stroke accreditation ensures a dynamic, forward-thinking atmosphere.
Schedule/Hours:
- Weekday and weekend shifts available
- Department orientation up to 1 week
- No on-call requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years CT experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and advanced registry in CT
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with peripheral IV placement, venous/arterial phase scanning, stroke imaging (perfusion), colorectal studies
- TeraRecon knowledge preferred, not required
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT exams for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient settings
- Perform CT-guided invasive procedures; cardiac CT imaging (day shift, 7 days/week)
- Operate Siemens CT scanners and Bayer/Medrad injectors
- Document within EPIC EMR and Philips iSite PACS
- Collaborate across disciplines and prioritize patient-centered care
