Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts: 7 PM 7 AM, Thursday through Saturday
- Maximum of 1 week of requested time off during the 13-week assignment
- No call requirements
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
- BLS certification essential
- 1-2 years experience in both CT and X-ray, demonstrating proficiency in both modalities
- Experience using GE CT Scanners, Philips XR, Vitrea, Merge PACS, and MedRad contrast injector
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred
- Must provide valid drivers license and current certifications with application
- Candidates must have a permanent residence at least 50 miles from Gary
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-ray procedures in a 10-bed Free Standing Emergency Department
- Work collaboratively with an X-ray technologist until 11 PM; operate independently for the remainder of the shift
- Deliver imaging support for low-volume inpatient rehab and extended care units
- Follow detailed protocol books and utilize up-to-date scan procedures
- Maintain high standards of patient care and imaging quality
