Schedule:
- 13-week assignment
- 3x12-hour shifts: SaturdayMonday, 7:30 AM8:00 PM
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CT imaging
- BLS certification (AHA only)
- ARRT and RR(CT) required
- Texas MRT licensure required
- Comfortable wearing Caribbean Blue scrubs
- Ability to serve a wide age range, from newborn to geriatric
- Experience precepting or training others is a plus
Role Overview and Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT procedures in accordance with established protocols for both ambulatory and hospital patients
- Operate within radiation safety standards, monitor dosage, and follow up when necessary
- Explain procedures to patients, ensure their comfort, and maintain a positive, calming environment
- Prepare patients and manage positioning, immobilization devices, and imaging equipment
- Uphold strict infection control, patient safety, and sterile procedure protocols
- Maintain accurate, timely imaging records and documentation
- Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate effective first aid/emergency response skills
- Serve as a preceptor to support training if needed
