A healthcare opportunity is available for a CT Technologist skilled in advanced imaging within a hospital radiology department. This contract position offers a focused night shift schedule and a dynamic work environment supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patient areas.
Location: Florissant, Missouri positioned near a vibrant metropolitan area known for its rich cultural heritage, outdoor activities, and renowned local attractions including historic sites, entertainment districts, and culinary destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT scans for radiologist and physician interpretation, including interventional and specialized procedures such as biopsies, ablations, myelography, and arthrography.
- Assist radiologists during special CT procedures while providing essential patient care throughout.
- Apply radiation safety principles consistently.
- Manage daily scheduling to support team efficiency.
- Adapt to working across multiple patient areas including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
- Participate in mandatory orientation and comply with facility policies and dress code standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Current CT Registry certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work night shifts (4x10 schedule, 2100-0700) with weekend coverage.
- Skilled in use of GE imaging equipment and EPIC electronic medical record system preferred.
- Flexibility to float as required.
