Job Description
An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional to contribute expertise in a dynamic freestanding emergency room environment. This contract role primarily supports a state-of-the-art imaging unit equipped with the latest GE Revo Maxima CT scanner, GE XR AMX Navigate, and GE Definium Tempo Pro, offering exposure to new technologies and advanced systems. Some shifts may also occur at the main hospital campus.
Schedule:
- 3x 12-hour shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
- ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications required
- Proficient in performing both CT and X-ray imaging
- Capable of working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Strong skills in conducting a range of diagnostic imaging studies (no interventional procedures)
- Comfortable adapting to multiple documentation platforms, including GE PACS, Meditech, and Clario
- Commitment to high standards of patient experience in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Ability to comply with required dress code (black scrubs)
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic CT and X-ray exams for a wide range of emergency department patients
- Collaborate closely with ER RNs, MDs, security personnel, and ancillary staff to ensure the efficient flow of patient care
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in designated systems
- Participate in general operations of a brand-new emergency imaging unit and occasionally float to main facility as needed
- Contribute positively to patient-centered care, supporting a unit recognized for its dedicated staff and innovative technology
