Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with flexible scheduling
In this multi-modality technologist position, you will independently operate imaging equipment, perform diagnostic exams across multiple radiology modalities, and contribute to the daily operations of the radiology department. Youll be entrusted with ensuring quality image production, maintaining high ethical standards, and providing outstanding, age-specific patient care for all populations, from neonates to geriatrics. Your adaptability and administrative skills will play a vital role in maintaining efficient workflow, reporting, and compliance with both hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Associates Degree or accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program (required)
- Certified by ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality (required)
- Ohio State License (required)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (required)
- 1+ years experience in Radiology plus completion of a second modality orientation (preferred)
- Effective communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with imaging equipment, PACS, EMR, and RIS
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high-quality imaging procedures across multiple modalities
- Adhere to safety and identification protocols, including ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely
- Perform equipment maintenance and quality assurance tasks
- Support department operations, patient scheduling, and accurate record-keeping
- Mentor students and new staff after one year of experience
- Uphold strict patient confidentiality and compliance requirements
