Job Description

Seeking a skilled imaging professional to operate advanced computed tomography (CT) equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images. In this contract role, you will play a vital part in patient care by generating precise cross-sectional images to aid in the diagnosis of various medical conditions. This opportunity also involves performing additional imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy, making it ideal for a well-rounded technologist eager to utilize a broad range of radiologic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT equipment to produce clear, accurate images for diagnostic evaluation
  • Independently perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures as ordered by healthcare providers
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process
  • Adhere to established protocols for radiologic procedures, radiation safety, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, reporting any issues promptly
  • Document and archive imaging results according to facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent, and state licensure as required
  • Demonstrated experience in CT imaging, with additional proficiency in general radiography and fluoroscopy
  • Strong understanding of patient positioning, imaging protocols, and radiation safety practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact compassionately with patients and coordinate care with clinical teams
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently
