Deliver advanced patient care and diagnostic services as a key team member specializing in CT imaging. This contract position focuses on performing high-quality computed tomography scans in a hospital environment, ensuring patient safety and delivering precise results alongside a collaborative radiology team.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Day shift: 9 a.m. 9 p.m.
• Mid shift: 12 p.m. 12 a.m.
• Overnight: 7 p.m. 7 a.m.
• Rotating call and holiday coverage required

Key Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of recent, visible CT imaging experience required
• Current certification in specialty area (CT) is mandatory
• Proven expertise in patient positioning, image capture, and scanner operation
• Familiarity with hospital safety protocols and infection control standards
• Strong communication skills to coordinate efficiently with patients and care teams
• Demonstrated attention to detail and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Independently perform CT scans based on orders and established protocols
• Accurately document procedure details and maintain patient records
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort
• Monitor patient status during scans, identifying and responding to any adverse reactions
• Calibrate and maintain CT equipment according to manufacturer specifications
• Adhere to all radiology department policies, including call and holiday scheduling requirements
