Job Description

Seeking a skilled CT Technologist with strong vascular imaging expertise for a contract assignment in Elgin, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly regarded healthcare setting equipped with advanced imaging resources and serving a diverse patient population. Candidates should be prepared to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs and adhere to facility protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general and vascular CT imaging on both inpatient and outpatient clients
  • Manage an average patient load of approximately 50 per shift within a four-bed CT unit
  • Utilize EPIC electronic health record system to document and manage patient information
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, maintaining active ACR CT accreditation and other required certifications

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience with a solid vascular imaging background
  • Active Illinois Medical Radiologic Technologist (IEMA) state license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
  • ACR CT accreditation in good standing
  • Exposure to GE imaging equipment and Level 1 trauma protocols is highly preferred
