Step into an essential role making a difference in patient diagnostics by utilizing your expertise in CT imaging. This opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality care to patients requiring computed tomography scans within a medical environment. Work closely with a skilled radiology team, ensuring accurate imaging results and patient safety throughout each procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare and position patients according to exam requirements and safety protocols
- Monitor image quality and troubleshoot equipment issues as necessary
- Assist physicians with image-guided procedures when required
- Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures in accordance with regulations
- Adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as facility policies, to maintain a safe and compliant imaging environment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or CT program
- Current ARRT (CT) certification or eligibility
- State licensure, if required
- Previous experience in CT imaging, preferably in a hospital or high-volume clinic setting
- Strong knowledge of imaging safety standards and patient care practices
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team
