Job Description
A healthcare opportunity for an experienced CT technologist is available in East Peoria, IL. This travel position involves working at a large medical center with 640 beds and five CT scanners, providing diverse imaging experiences across a busy department. Candidates skilled in performing all types of general CT scanning using GE equipment will find this role engaging and rewarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans and ensure high-quality imaging following all protocols
Start IVs as needed to prepare patients for imaging procedures
Utilize GE imaging equipment alongside EPIC, McKesson, and PACS systems
Collaborate with the care team and support patient comfort and safety
Complete a two-week orientation to become proficient in facility-specific procedures and workflows
Qualifications and Experience:
ARRT certification in CT required
IEMA certification and BLS certification mandatory
Prior experience working with GE imaging equipment essential
Strong understanding of CT scanning procedures and safety standards
Schedule:
Choose between two shift options:
Days: 3 twelve-hour shifts (7:00 a.m.7:30 p.m.), every fourth weekend, with holiday rotation
Nights: 3 twelve-hour shifts (7:00 p.m.7:30 a.m.), every third weekend, with holiday rotation
