An opportunity is available for a skilled CT Technologist to provide expert imaging services using advanced equipment in a well-established medical center. This contract position is based in East Peoria, IL, within a facility that operates 640 beds and five CT scanners, ensuring a dynamic and vital role in patient care. The successful candidate will perform a variety of general CT scanning procedures, including starting IVs and utilizing GE equipment with systems such as EPIC, McKesson, and PACS.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct all types of general CT scans with precision and care Start IVs as part of imaging procedures Utilize GE imaging equipment effectively Collaborate using EPIC, McKesson, and PACS for imaging processes Participate in a structured 2-week orientation and training program
Qualifications and Experience: Certification in CT (ARRT) Current IEMA and BLS certifications Experience with GE imaging equipment is required Ability to work within a team and follow established protocols
Schedule: Choose between 3 shifts of 12 hours each: days (7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.) or nights (7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.) Weekend rotation every third or fourth weekend, including holidays
